Activity Notes

The Tooth is a classic I-90 alpine rock climb on pretty decent granite. It's four pitches of 5.4-5.6 climbing and some scrambling. This can be a popular route so we'll aim to move efficiently, but it's also a fairly chill beginning alpine multi-pitch so hopefully we'll have fun.

We'll climb in teams of two, staying close enough to help each other if needed and all rappel together. Teams can swap leads depending on experience and conditions. If you are interested in leading on this climb, please email me and we can talk about your experience. melindahugo@gmail.com

Although we'll be climbing car-to-car, it's a long drive from Portland so we'll camp at the trail head Monday evening and drive home Tuesday evening.

Preference for graduates of Intermediate Climbing School and Advanced Rock classes. At a minimum, must have experience lead belaying.
