The BCEP snow day field session is held in the gullies near Timberline Lodge. This day affords you the opportunity to practice snow skills such as movement on crampons, rope team travel, ice axe techniques, moving in balance, self-arrest, self-belay, as well as to observe snow anchors.

Activity Notes

During this field session, we will head to the snow slopes near Timberline Ski Resort on Mt. Hood to learn and practice skills used to climb snowy mountains.
