Classic's Seasonal Luncheons celebrate the Mazama members who have been part of the organization the longest. At the winter Holiday luncheon, we recognize our new 25 and 50-year members.
Activity Notes
Join the Mazama Classics for lunch at the Mazama Lodge. Attendees are encouraged to arrive beginning at 11:30 AM and lunch will be served at noon. A $5 donation is requested to offset the cost.
This year's speaker will be Dr. Seth Moran, a volcano seismologist with the Cascades Volcano Observatory team working out of Vancouver, Washington. He will be speaking about Mount Hood's history, hazards, and the work of the US Geological Survey and others in disaster mitigation.
To carpool to the Lodge, please plan to meet at the Mazama Mountaineering Center at 10 AM.
