Broken Top, Green Lakes

Activity Notes

This will be a one day out and back climb of Broken Top.  Recommend this climb if you are also climbing the South Sister climb the day before with Alex Lockard.  It isn't required though. https://mazamas.org/activity/instance/4421/ This will be a fun rock climb that will require a very short vertical fixed line prussik up a 15ft pitch or so to the false summit.  We will traverse around the catwalk to the real summit.  I do NOT plan to put in a horizontal fixed line for the catwalk as that will take too much time and there isn't enough solid placements anyway.  We will down climb back to the false summit and rappel that small technical pitch and plunge-step the face back home.
