Activity Notes

Applicants for this climb are expected to have at least BCEP level snow skills: proper use of an ice ax, know how to self arrest, do team rope travel, tie the 8 common knots, travel wearing crampons. Members will be expected to carry a portion of the group gear (shovels, probes, pickets, ropes). Team members will be expected to be in proper condition for the climb. Pack weight of 30+ pounds is not uncommon for this climb.
