AYM Backpack: Badger Creek Traverse

Ready to test backpacking gear for summer? Join us on an overnight trek into Badger Creek Wilderness. We'll begin in grasslands at Ball Point trailhead (trail #468), gradually ascending to a primitive campsite.  The next day we'll return along Little Badger Creek. From here, we'll return to the trailhead overland or by shuttle. As a gradual trek with water sources, this trail is more suitable for newer backpackers while still offering a challenge. If new to AYM trips, please review our hiking rules. For new backpackers, please consult this  checklist to ensure you have adequate gear. 182 miles round-trip driving. 8.3 miles, 1650'.
