Mt. Thielsen East Peak is the 75th highest peak in Oregon. It is about a mile ENE of Mt. Thielsen.

Activity Notes

From our car camp at Diamond Lake, we drive to the Howlock Mt. Trailhead and hike to Thielsen Creek Trail to the PCT.  Passing by Thielsen Camp, follow the Thielsen Creek drainage south to the pass at the top of ridge.  We follow the ridgeline NE then bear right to the summit on Holly's Ridge. Return to the Trailhead via the ascent route.
