This is an A level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. A level hikes are easy or less strenuous hikes with less than 8 miles in distance and less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

Plan is to head down off trail down a small gully towards Summit Meadows. Once we reach the meadows, head south crossing the former air strip as we continue our trek to the lake. At the lake have lunch and then traverse around the lake and retrace our route back to the cars. 5 miles, 600’ ft. elevation gain/loss. Dr. 100 Gateway P&R 7:30 a.m. Contact leader if any questions at dkbmnelson@gmail.com.
