*** UPDATE 2/8 - HIKE CANCELLED *** *** UPDATE 2/7 - HIKE CHANGED TO HUCKLEBERRY MOUNTAIN *** Hike is changed due to a road closure before the Devil's Peak trailhead. Huckleberry Mountain is located in the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness.  We will start from Wildwood Rec area along Hwy 26 and go up through a mature forest to a viewpoint at 4200' elevation.  A bunch of fresh snow has fallen in the past week and this is not a popular winter hike, so we are likely to be breaking a lot of trail. Bring snowshoes, boot traction, winter pack full of extra clothing layers, extra food and headlamp. 10 miles, 3300' elevation 8AM departure Gateway 80 miles RT drive distance
