The North Face Couloir is in a true north facing cirque like Eliot Headwall on Mt. Hood. Usually the North Face Couloir is as snow climb, but during the right conditions, you will find multiple pitches of ice.

Activity Notes

This is the 2nd climb of a multi-part climb with Middle Sister.

After Climbing Middle Sister on Saturday, we'll camp at Chambers Lake. We'll make an alpine start and ascend South Sister via the North Ridge. We'll descend the same way, pack up, hike and return to Portland on the same day.
