The Mazamas offers a variety of classes for all ability levels. Learn new skills in mountaineering, rock climbing, first aid, ski mountaineering, and more.
This class is a combined online/practice and skills test CPR class.
Under this system, students complete the videos at their own pace at home. Upon completion, students print a completion certificate and bring it with them to the skills practice and test session at the MMC. Students will then receive their cards (valid for 2-years) in the mail. Easy! Note: Registrants who do not bring the certificate into class will not be able to get an AHA card.
Complete information on how to access the online portion will be e-mailed to students within two business days of registration.
If you are a climb leader, hike leader, or are in the leadership development program, you will be required to enter your credit card information, but you will not be charged upon acceptance.
Cancellations 14 days or more prior to the class start will receive a full refund less a $10 processing fee if the course key has not been utilized. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the class start there will be no refund. If cancel at any time after utilizing the course key, there will be no refund. Those on the waiting list will not be charged until a spot opens up for participation and then are subject to the same refund policy.
