This is an C level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. C level hikes are difficult or strenuous hikes with either over 15 miles in distance or over 3,000 feet elevation gain. C level hikes require you to apply; once you apply you will receive an email within a few days letting you know if you have been accepted onto the hike.

Activity Notes

Columbia Gorge, Washington side. We will hike from Hwy 14 up to the top of the rim across from Multnomah Falls, then along the rim to a few viewpoints. Big cliffs, big trees, primitive trail, possibly snow. Short breaks every hour or so. Brisk pace.

10 miles, 2400 ft. Meet at Gateway transit center, 8am departure. 80 miles round trip driving distance
