This is an B level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. B level hikes are moderate or more challenging hikes with either less than 15 miles in distance with between 1,500 and 3,000 feet elevation gain or between 8 and 15 miles in distance with less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

We will hike the trails around North Bonneville and Hamilton Island. We will be using our GPS maps to locate trails, waypoints and track our progress. Bring along your smart phone with the Gaia GPS App installed. You can download it for free from: https://www.gaiagps.com Hiking will cover 5-10 miles with less than 500 feet elevation gain. (Mazama members can get a free full version of Gaia for one year.) Meet at the Mazama Mountaineering Center Parking lot.
