Activity Notes

From Gateway we will go to Ridgefield NWR River S unit and drive it to see the wintering birds.  Then we go to the Carty Unit to do the Oaks trail to see wintering birds, native songbirds , and oak trees nearly 500 years old. Meet at Gateway Transit Center.  Visited the Refuge Dec. 15, most birds I have ever seen there especially Tundra Swans and Sandhill Cranes.
