Visit beaches, rocky shoreline and booming surf on a weekend trip to the Oregon and Washington coast. No camping for us, we’ll instead be “roughing it” in yurts equipped with heat & lights at Cape Disappointment State Park. We will head out on Saturday morning to spend the weekend hiking various trails in the area and exploring different sites of interest. We’ll focus on exploring the Washington coast on Saturday, and the Oregon coast/Astoria area on Sunday. There is rich history in this area as Lewis and Clark made camp in the area during their exploration. Our trips may highlight and visit some sites pertaining to this history.
