With beautiful views, amazing spring wildflowers, and a relatively short effort, this is one of the most popular hikes in the Gorge. On a good day, you can get a view of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River.

Activity Notes

Up the "more difficult" trail, down the "difficult" loop.  We will maintain a steady pace with breaks.  Expect a good workout, but we won't be rushing.  Meet at MMC by 7:30am to carpool, or at the trailhead by 8:45am.  NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required for parking.
