With beautiful views, amazing spring wildflowers, and a relatively short effort, this is one of the most popular hikes in the Gorge. On a good day, you can get a view of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River.

Activity Notes

Up the "More Difficult" trail, down the "Difficult" loop.  We will keep a steady pace of 1.5 mph.  Expect a good workout, though we won't be rushing.

Meet at MMC to arrange carpools for a prompt 7:30am departure, or at the trailhead by 8:45am.  We will begin hiking at 9am.  NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required for parking at the trailhead.
