Activity Notes

This hike passes Mirror Lake, which if we're fortunate will live up to its name, and on a clear day, the top offers views from Rainier to Jefferson. Conditions permitting, we will go beyond the first viewpoint to the actual summit. This adds another mile roundtrip (~9 miles total with 1700 feet of gain) and involves light rock-hopping and trail-finding through overgrown areas. We'll depart from the MMC at 7:30 am or you can meet us at the trailhead at 8:45. A $5 day use fee, NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required to park at the trailhead.
