Activity Notes

Come exploring with me! This is an exploratory hike, meaning that I have not done this hike before. While this is on established trails and I will do my research beforehand, there may be unexpected encounters with fallen trees, overgrown debris, small creek crossings, light route-finding/scrambling, etc. Please have an open mind and be excited for adventure!

Out-and-back to East Zigzag Mountain via Burnt Lake. We will get a glimpse of Lost Creek Falls along the way.

Carpool from Rock Haven at 7:00AM or you can meet us at North Burnt Lake TH at 8:00AM. Northwest Forest Pass required. Suggested gas contribution is $8/passenger. The last mile and a half is supposed to be gravel and can be rough.
