This is an B level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. B level hikes are moderate or more challenging hikes with either less than 15 miles in distance with between 1,500 and 3,000 feet elevation gain or between 8 and 15 miles in distance with less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

Get into the holiday spirit at the exact wrong time of year! Bring something cold to share with the group and an ornament to hang along the Ornament Trail to celebrate the Summer Solstice. We will set out from Wahkeena Falls and head up to the Multnomah Basin to Nesika Lodge for a festive lunch and Gorge views at Waesepe Point. We will return via Multnomah falls before returning back to the Wahkeena Falls Trailhead.
