A loop up the Hardy Creek trail and descending via Hamilton Mountain. We'll make a stop at the Little Hamilton Mountain for one of my favorite Gorge vistas. Little Hamilton Mountain is accessed via a use trail that has some steep, loose sections and sections of exposure.

We'll carpool from the MMC at 2:30 pm. Hikers meeting up at the Hamilton Mountain trailhead should arrive no later than 3:15 pm. The hike is about 7.5 miles with 2200' of gain. We'll aim to complete the hike in 4 hours or less.

This is a provisional hike for Angie Brown to become a hike leader.
