Activity Notes
The hike to Ramona Falls is a scenic and peaceful journey on the slopes of Mount Hood. The trail winds through lush forest, crosses the Sandy River, and gradually climbs beneath towering evergreens. Along the way, the sounds of rushing water and birds create a calm, immersive atmosphere. The destination is a stunning, fan-shaped waterfall cascading over layered rock, creating a delicate, veil-like effect. Though moderately long, the hike feels approachable and rewarding, offering a perfect mix of forest beauty, gentle challenge, and one of the most unique waterfalls in Oregon.
The plan is to meet at the MMC and depart around 7 a.m. If you would like to meet us at the trailhead, please do so by 8:30 a.m.
