Larch Mtn via Wahkeena Falls Trailhead

Activity Notes

All-day hike to Larch Mtn from the Columbia River Gorge. On a clear day the summit provides a 360 degree view of all the high cascade peaks from Mt Jefferson to Mt Rainier. 

We will start at the Wahkeena Falls Trailhead and return via Multnomah Creek passing Ecola, Wiesendanger, Dutchman, and Multnomah Falls before finally returning to Wahkeena.

The route is about 15 miles with 4400 ft of elevation gain

Carpools will be arranged from the Troutdale Outlet shops at 6:15am for a 6:30am departure to the Wahkeena Falls Trailhead. The plan is to be on the trail at 7am.
