Activity Notes
Located just south of Forest Grove, Chehalem Ridge Nature Park, which opened in June of 2022, is the largest Metro park on Portland’s west side. The well-maintained hiking trails wind back and forth along the ridgetop, offering views of the Tualatin Valley and the Coast Range. We’ll start at the Chehalem Ridge Trailhead and walk the forest trails to the wildflower meadow on Iowa Hill.
7 miles / 700 feet elevation gain / 70 drive miles.
Meet at 9:00 AM at the Mazama Mountaineering Center parking lot.
