King’s Mountain is a challenging but rewarding hike in the Oregon Coast Range, known for its steep climb and forested beauty. The trail quickly gains elevation as it winds through dense woodland, offering a peaceful and shaded experience along the way. Near the top, hikers are treated to limited but satisfying views, especially on clear days. Often paired with nearby Elk Mountain for a longer loop, King’s Mountain is a great choice for those looking for a solid workout and a quieter, less crowded trail.
