This is an B level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. B level hikes are moderate or more challenging hikes with either less than 15 miles in distance with between 1,500 and 3,000 feet elevation gain or between 8 and 15 miles in distance with less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

Prindle Mountain is part of a small network of informal trails west of Archer Mountain. Since it gets far less traffic than most Gorge trails, it will likely be overgrown in spots. This hike includes the eastern portion of the Enchanted Forest loop. It will cover about 7 miles with around 2000 ft of elevation gain, out and back. 

We will carpool from the MMC departing at 7:30 am.
