Wilson River/Lester Creek Section

Activity Notes

This is provisional hike for Ryan Clement so he can become hike leader.  This hike involves 2,485 feet of elevation gain over an 11.5-mile out-and-back. The pace will be 2 mph. We will be meeting at the Northwest corner of the Target parking lot at 11095 NE Evergreen Parkway at 7:50am for the carpool so we can leave promptly at 8:00am. I will be in a white Dodge Ram 1500. Bruce and I can fit up to 11 people in our vehicles if we squeeze. A few dollars for gas money would be appreciated. I will be parked in front of the Starbucks. We are aiming to be at the Kings Mountain Trailhead by 8:50am. If you plan to meet us at the trailhead, please let me know ahead of time. I am aiming for us to be back at the Kings Mountain Trailhead by 3:30pm and back to the carpool location by 4:30pm. Make sure to bring lunch, and some trail snacks are also a good idea. Please dress for the weather. I will be checking in by email a few days before the hike to advise on the predicted conditions. I will cancel if the weather/driving conditions are too dangerous.
