Activity Notes

Attention trail tenders: WTA and the Mazamas are working together to maintain a portion of the upper section of Dog Mountain on Saturday, April 18th.

We will be hiking between 6 and 7 miles, while carrying WTA tools up the mountain and back; approximately 2800 ft elevation gain. This will be a rigorous day and has been especially reserved just for the Mazamas since we seem to like a challenge.

Please sign up here in the Mazama calendar AND through this WTA link:

*New Info*

The Mountain is experiencing an early bloom and the Forest Service bumped up the permit season, so we'll be extra mindful to carpool to this event but we won’t need parking passes since we are trail crew. .

This trip is important not to cancel if at all possible as it can be tough to fill spots last minute and there is a lot of preparation that goes into a maintenance day.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions. lisacondon77@gmail.com

We are currently accepting 10-12 volunteers.

Looking forward to seeing you out on this adventure! It's a uniquely cool way to give back.
