Activity Notes
Originally a Unicorn climb, this became a climb of Plummer Peak.
This is a great first climb for BCEP grads. It really puts it all together.
We'll hike in from the Snow Lake Trailhead past the lakes and then up through some steep bowls/chutes where we may need crampons depending on the conditions. Then we need to cross over or through a moat and up onto a traverse to the summit block. A variety of 4th to mid-5th class routes to the summit await us. We rap off the top and retrace our route back down. There are usually two or three long glissades down the chutes.
I will look into camp sites at Cougar Rock the night before.
Once skills and experience are accounted for, I make every effort to balance my climbs with team members of different genders and backgrounds. I'm committed to creating safe and fulfilling experiences for everyone in the mountains.
