The Basic Climbing Education Program (BCEP) Final Testing is designed to test proficiency in BCEP skills. It is required to graduate from BCEP.

Activity Notes

Note: We will be meeting at the MMC auditorium. Please enter through the back door.

The students will be tested and have to show proficiency in the following skills:

  • Top rope belay
  • Rappelling
  • Fixed line travel (vertical fixed line)
  • Running belay
  • Knots:
    • Prussik
    • Overhand knot
    • Girth hitch
    • Clove hitch
    • Double fisherman

The students will be given a reasonable number of practice attempts and two test out attempts.
