This is an B level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. B level hikes are moderate or more challenging hikes with either less than 15 miles in distance with between 1,500 and 3,000 feet elevation gain or between 8 and 15 miles in distance with less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes
Before registering, if you are not a regular hiker with the Mazamas, please ensure that your profile includes details on your hiking and/or other outdoor activites over the past few months.
This hike is about 7 miles with 2000 feet of elevation gain. We'll start at the Horsetail Falls parking area, pass by Horsetail Falls, Ponytail Falls, Oneonta Falls, and Triple Falls and proceed up the Oneonta Trail to where it crosses the creek. Out and back.
Expect to navigate fallen trees and some overgrown sections especially on the upper part of the trail.
We'll carpool from the MMC departing at 7:30 am or you can meet us at the trailhead at 8:05
