Join photographers Alex Zimmerman and Zach Joseph for a special Action & Adventure Photography Workshop at the Mazama Mountaineering Center. These photographers are Mount Hood institutions, often found executing creative shots on the slopes and trails they call home. In this Basecamp workshop, they'll share the secret to capturing iconic moments in these wild places. Discussions will circle around photography principals, gear, editing, and timing. Planning includes location scouting, test images, and selecting the right weather conditions for your shots. Equipment and techniques will focus on the basics of cameras and composition, the exposure triangle and finding angles. After the presentation, you'll be ready to go out and capture those majestic vistas, high energy outdoor sports, and classic moments of enjoyment on the mountain. Bring your questions, bring your stoke, and get ready for a fun night of action, photography, and community!

This basecamp is offered in conjunction with the Northwest Avalanche Center (NWAC). All donations and raffle proceeds will support their mission of avalanche preparedness, education, and safety in Washington and on Mount Hood.
