Cascadia Wild's Wolverine Tracking Project is a unique community science effort on the Mt. Hood National Forest, where volunteers help document some of Oregon’s rarest carnivores. These elusive species include Sierra Nevada red fox, wolves, Pacific marten, and wolverine. The project connects people with the outdoors, teaches valuable skills, and provides important information to help land managers protect these species and their habitats.  

Learn how community science works on the ground, what recent findings show, and why species like Sierra Nevada red fox and wolverine are important parts of a healthy ecosystem. Also learn how you can be involved in the monitoring process whenever you are up on the mountain.
