This is an B level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. B level hikes are moderate or more challenging hikes with either less than 15 miles in distance with between 1,500 and 3,000 feet elevation gain or between 8 and 15 miles in distance with less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

This hike stays on the lower elevation trails in Beacon Rock State Park, creating a lollipop loop using the East Hardy Ridge, Bridge and Upper Hardy Creek Trails.

It is approx. 7 miles with roughly 1200' of elevation gain.

We will meet at the MMC (located HERE) at 8 AM to arrange carpools, and begin hiking from the Beacon Rock Equestrian Trailhead (located HERE) at 9 AM.

We will have lunch along the trail and return to the MMC between 3 and 4 PM.
