BCEP Team 02 Palmer Conditioning and skills practice hike. The Palmer hike has been customized based on BCEP student input for start time, skill focus areas and learning objectives. This will be a one-day hike of Mt. Hood South Side up to the top of Palmer glacier. Depart from Climber's Registry at the Timberline Day Lodge. The start time may be adjusted due to conditions. Will return to the Timberline TH by early afternoon. Also note that the hike may be cancelled, postponed or moved to a safer location due to weather/avalanche considerations.
