Activity Notes

To celebrate your post-Horsethief adventure, we shall continue east to car camp at Maryhill Campground with 5 other BCEP teams (6 total, and usually a bonus BOEALPS group as well).  This is car camping, so please bring anything and everything to make yourself comfortable.  We will be staying at the GROUP campsite with a large picnic pavillion.  There is a huge lawn area to pitch a tent, but we should stick relatively together as a group.  Please note the sprinkler system turns on in the morning to water the lawn, so put on that rainfly or tent in the mulch areas.  Or sleep in your car like I do; there is plenty of parking lot space!  We will have an MTV Cribs showoff before dinner!  So FLEX your princess setups!  Trains go by all night long so bring earplugs.

There is running water, a few electrical outlets, outdoor lighting and picnic tables, and flushing toilet facilities onsite, but otherwise it's rustic.  We will be cooking a banger potluck together, so bring your A-game since we SnakeDogs have a reputation to uphold.

There is a HUGE firepit, so bring some firewood to burn.  Pass around some adult bevvies and bring a musical instrument if you are inclined.  Bring your own chair.

Bring your own adult beverages.  While there are some onsite trash and recycling facilities, they simply CANNOT handle the waste of 7 climb teams and assistants.  Please, please, please do your part to keep track & clean up your equipment and take out your own recycling when possible.
