Activity Notes
Hi all! We will meet at Tea Cup this Sunday February 1st at the warming cabin again at 8:45 am. If you want to arrive a few minutes earlier to beat the rush that is fine as well. The weather says rain, high of 42, with chance of precipitation at 80% right now. It's possible things can change slightly. Lauren and I talked and it seems like the 1st could acutally be better snow-wise then the 8th, as next week is supposed to be warm and dry. So, let's make it a go. Be prepared for rain with extra clothes in case they get wet: socks, gloves, hat, insulating later, as well as a rainshell, and rainpants. We can leave extra clothes in the cabin.
The plan is to explore all of the trails at Tea Cup depending on conditions. We can make some long runs and come back to the cabin for lunch, then make some tours after lunch, putting our new skills we learned into practice. The conditions will probably not be good enough to go to backcountry areas, so Tea Cup is the best.
Again, bring plenty of water, a warm drink in a thermos if you want, and plenty of food. <br> Also, check the carpool sheet for the 2nd week, and let's have everyone carpool since parking is so limited.
Thanks! Lesley
