Forest Park Section A Loop

Activity Notes

16 mile hike.   At 2-2.5 mph on relatively steady grade, this is meant to be an excellent pre-Thanksgiving workout, rain or shine. We’ll stop for a lunch break and otherwise as needed.

 Meet at the trail head to get started hiking at 8 am.

You can find parking for section A of the Wildwood trail at the Vietnam Memorial adjacent to the Oregon Zoo and World Forestry Center. You can also take the MAX Blue or Red Lines to the Washington Park station.  The trail head is located near the Vietnam Memorial. 

This hike is in section A of Forest Park. We’ll head north on the Wild Wood Trail, cut across the Dogwood trail to Leif Erikson Drive, head south to the Aspen trail and then back to the Wildwood Trail to finish.
