This is the last of 4 hikes located in parks in and around the Portland Metro area.

<br>  Join us for a brisk ramble on the Forest Park trails west of Germantown Road. This hike will be approximately 11 miles long, with close to 2000' of elevation gain. We will walk it fairly quickly, with a pace of about 2 1/2  to 3 miles per hour.  There looks to be one fairly steep, steady climb of about 800'. We will meet and begin hiking at 8:30 AM from the Leif Erickson Trailhead (LOCATED HERE ) on Germantown Road. If anyone needs a ride from the Eastside or wishes to carpool, the leader can meet at the MMC (https://maps.app.goo.gl/UJfWsGFUrum3gN7G6) at 7:45 AM, although it is only a 25 minute drive to the trailhead.

Parking is llimited at this trailhead, so carpooling with a friend or neighbor is recommended.
