Tilly Jane A frame Sunrise Coffee Hike (or Snowshoe)

Snowshoe/hike to Tilly Jane A-Frame for sunrise coffee.

2000 ft elevation gain

6.3 miles unless the trailhead is snowed in which means we’ll add about 1.5 miles each way (9.3 miles total) from Cooper Spur Resort

Pace will be just under 2 MPH with snowshoes. A bit faster if there isn't much snow. 

Total time 5-6 hours including a leisurely coffee and photography at Tilly Jane A Frame.

This hike begins in the dark.

Please bring the following: 

• headlamp
• snowshoes/micro spikes/hiking boots
• trekking poles
• insulated, water resistant clothes (think snow gear)
• 2 liters of water
• coffee/tea (jet boil if you like, or just use a thermos)
• snacks/breakfast
• camera (optional)
• toilet paper for the outhouse at the A Frame.

Getting there:

NOTE THAT THESE DIRECTIONS ARE TO COOPER SPUR RESORT WHICH IS JUST BEFORE THE TURN OFF TO THE TILLY JANE TRAILHEAD.
