SSI & ASI Alumni Climb Night and Potluck

Join Us for an Ice Climbing Warm-Up!

Ice climbing season is just around the corner! Get ready for your next adventure by refreshing your technique and reconnecting with fellow SSI & ASI alumni at our Climb Night. This is a great opportunity to fine-tune your form on the artificial ice wall and build camaraderie with others who share your passion for climbing.

If you can, please bring a dish or snack to share with your fellow alumni and add the details to the shared spreadsheet [here].

Don’t miss out—register, mark your calendar, and get ready for an evening of fun, community, and preparation for the ice climbing season ahead!

Event Details:

• When: 6:30–9:00 p.m.
• Where: MMC/Holman Auditorium artificial ice wall

We’ll have three ropes on the foam walls and three ropes on “dry-tool” routes for those who want to practice mixed climbing techniques.

What to Bring:

You don’t need to bring ice climbing tools—we’ll provide them! Just bring:

• Harness
• Helmet
• Belay device
• Mountaineering boots
• Horizontal-point crampons (a few loaner pairs will be available)

As this is an informal event, feel free to arrive anytime and come and go as you please.
