This is an C level Mazama Hike that occurs in a wilderness area. C level hikes are difficult or strenuous hikes with either over 15 miles in distance or over 3,000 feet elevation gain. C level hikes require you to apply; once you apply you will receive an email within a few days letting you know if you have been accepted onto the hike.

Activity Notes

This will be an exploratory hike since it’s been pre pandemic since I have hiked this trail. Approximately 14.5 miles of loop and lakes, 1900 ft elevation.

The hike pace is a calibrated average of hiking faster on flats and slower on elevation gains, 2-2.5mph, working in conjunction with time.The plan is to return to MMC by 5pm no later than 6pm 🤞🏼

*Note* I am a carless hike leader and will need willing carpool drivers departing from MMC @ 7am for the hike to operate. Carpool $18.
