Activity Notes
Note: This hike does not start at Cloud Cap. It starts at Cooper Spur Ski Area Trailhead. It is also 12.5 miles and 5000ft of elevation gain rather than what it says on the main page.
This is a challenging hike with a wonderful view of the north side of Mt Hood and plenty of other vistas. It is about 12.5 miles and 5000ft of elevation gain. We'll move slowly and take regular breaks but it will likely be hot and there is no shade for much of the hike. You'll need to carry all of your water. If you don't have recent hiking/climbing with elevation gain, please email me if you are interested. We'll start at the Cooper Spur Ski Area Trailhead and end before the climbers tie-in point. Prepare for a long day!
