Saddle Mountain Hike

Activity Notes

This is 5.2 miles out and back hike with steep inclines going up and coming down. Great views from top subject to clear skies!

Hiking poles recommended

No parking permits are required at the trailhead. Parking is limited so going early will help. Carpooling highly encouraged.

Toilets are available at the trailhead.

Carpooling

We will meet at Sunset Transit Center at 6:30 am for carpooling.  It takes about 1 hr 20 mins to reach. We will plan to start hiking at 8 am, if you wish to meet us there.

Roundtrip mileage to the trailhead is 132 miles to and from sunset transit center. Suggested gas contribution is 10 cents / mile, $10-$13 per person to the driver.
