Activity Notes
I’m starting the summer with my favorite hike up Eagle Creek. It offers tantalizing views of several falls and gullies crossed by bridges and hopefully spring flowers. There are some areas with steep fall-offs and long stretches of exposed areas. If you have fear of heights or are heat sensitive, please consider a different hike.
We will carpool from the gateway transit center at 7:30 or meet at the trailhead at 8:30 AM. Please message me if you plan to meet at the trailhead. Parking is safest at the first bathrooms you come to near the fish hatchery. There’s a kiosk for buying parking permits there. The Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass are required.
The total distance of this hike will be about 13 miles from the bathrooms.
Distance: 70 miles round trip. Please be prepared to pay $7 to your driver. Please let me know if you’re meeting the Group at the trailhead.
