Activity Notes
This is a one day climb of the rarely climbed Unicorn Peak in the Tatoosh Range in Rainier National Park.
This climb will require moderate to steep snow climbing with an ice axe and crampons, possible snow bridge/moat navigation, low-5th class belayed rock climbing in boots and rapelling. It's a perfect climb to apply newly gained BCEP skills.
You can drive up and camp the night before or in the very early morning. I'll look for camp options that may include Cougar Rock, Big Creek or FS road dispersed.
