Dog Mountain Loop (Sunset hike)

Activity Notes

See Dog Mountain in all its wildflower glory, without the crowds!  We'll hike at a pretty quick pace, we're racing the sun.  We'll take More Difficult up, and Difficult down.  If it's a beautiful spring evening we'll take a longish snack break at the top.

Sunset is at 8:34pm.  Headlamps required, it will be dark when we return to the cars.

Optional carpool, meeting at Gateway Transit Center park n ride, 4pm.  

Or, meet directly at trailhead, ready to hike at 5:30pm.  Northwest Forest Pass/America the Beautiful parking pass required.  There is a pit toilet at the trailhead.
