Climb of Ruby Peak from Murray Saddle Traihead.
Activity Notes
Ruby Peak at 8,884' is the 41st highest mountain in Oregon. Located in the northeast Wallowas, it is a non technical scramble with great views. We will backpack in about 4 miles to camp at an alpine meadow, climb the next day, and return on the third day.
Note that I am an old man and I walk and climb like one. If speed is your thing, you should skip this one.
