Activity Notes

This beautiful urban hike in Camas, Washington, will take us through the forest beside Lacamas Creek, over a few bridges and waterfalls, through wildflower fields (blooming status TBD), past some unique potholes, and by Round Lake.

We will meet at the MMC at 8:00 AM and carpool to the Lacamas Creek Trailhead and parking lot located at: 1641 NE 3rd Ave Camas, WA. Please use this exact address, as there are multiple park entrances and parking areas that a mapping app. can route to. Please let me know if you plan on meeting at the park rather than carpooling. We plan to arrive at the trailhead around 8:30 and depart promptly.

We will hike approx. 4.4 miles. Elevation gain is about 400 feet and we will take an easy pace (1.5-2 miles per hour). There is poison oak in the wildflower field. Staying on trail will limit exposure risk, but you may also choose to wear pants to help manage the risk if you wish.

Plan on arriving back at the MMC around 12:00-1:00 PM.
