Mt. Adams, South Side

Activity Notes

Mt. Adams climb on the south side. We will meet at 10:00am at the trailhead and make our way up to lunch counter. We will spend the afternoon to make our camp and enjoy this beautiful spot. Next morning around 4:00am we will start our summit bid. We should be at the summit around 8am and will turn around after a short stay. Plan included to glissade around 3000ft vertical, and be back at the cars around 2:00pm.

Even if late June, this is still a spring climb requiring snow skills, like glissading and self arrest and appropriate equipment including crampons and ice axe.
